For years, Taking the Escalator has centered on structured clinical thinking — especially when working with challenging clients. The method offers a unique approach to helping clients build and sustain insight, strengthen motivation, increase engagement, resolve ambivalence, and understand the deeper patterns that keep them stuck.

Now I’m taking that framework one step further...

I’ve been developing a structured AI-powered consultation tool built specifically around the Escalator model.

This is not generic AI.

This is not crisis guidance.

This is not treatment replacement.

It’s a clinical thinking partner — grounded in established Escalator logic.

Designed to help you:

  • Develop effective strategies to increase client self-awareness and insight

  • Strengthen and sustain internal motivation while leveraging external motivation and support

  • Sharpen your use of MI and other evidence-based practices

  • Think more clearly and confidently in complex clinical moments

  • Use the Taking the Escalator website more strategically when selecting your next worksheet or intervention

  • Improve engagement in both group and individual sessions with structured, real-time clinical thinking support

When you’re unsure, it thinks with you — inside the Escalator framework.

🔒 Pilot Access (Limited to 10–20 Premium Members)

Before expanding access more broadly, I’m opening a small, focused pilot group within Premium.

This will be a controlled development phase — thoughtful clinicians helping refine clarity, structure, and real-world usefulness.

If you’d like to be considered for pilot access, be prepared to reply with:

  1. The types of cases you most often feel “stuck” with

  2. What you would hope a structured consultation tool could help you think through

I’ll be selecting 10–20 Premium members for the initial round.

I’m extremely excited about this — not because it’s “AI,” but because of what it could mean for Escalator-based clinical reasoning and enhancing effective work with our clients.

Let’s build this together. Your input matters.

Technical Note:

Pilot access will be via a private ChatGPT GPT link. A ChatGPT account is required. Free accounts can use GPTs with usage limits; paid plans may offer smoother access for heavier use.
